How does vCare benefit me?
vCare allows you to stay in your home or at work, removing the need to travel to the physician office.
Does my insurance cover virtual healthcare? Will there be any additional costs?
Virtual healthcare visits are reimbursable. Any additional costs are determined by the patient’s insurance coverage. Can my provider prescribe medication?
Yes, the provider can prescribe medication for a patient they’ve seen virtually as long as the patient is in the same state in which the provider is licensed.
Can the provider order tests?
Yes, the provider can order any testing including radiology, lab, therapy, and more.
Are all visits appropriate for vCare?
There are some visits that are not suitable for vCare and the scheduling coordinators at each practice can help determine what type of visit would best fit each medical situation.
How do I schedule vCare consultations?
Contact your provider to see if virtual care is appropriate for your next appointment.
Where do I have to be to participate in a virtual healthcare visit?
The patient can be located in their home, work or anywhere they can have privacy. The patient must also be in the state of Kansas during the visit.
